Turnaround Management Association (“TMA”) will host an event to discuss “U.S. Retailers Restructuring: How Are Lenders and Property Managers Responding?”.   The speakers at the event are as follows:

  • J. David Forsyth, Sessions Fishman & Israel. David’s practice includes bankruptcy reorganization, various shopping center matters, creditors’ rights, loan workouts, and commercial and real estate transactions and litigation. He is an original member of the Bankruptcy Task Force of the International Conference of Shopping Centers and has participated in many retail Chapter 11 cases nation-wide.
  • Doug Charbonneau, Natchez MS. Doug is a consultant who  acted as C.F.O. or C.R.O. for large retail companies in bankruptcies nationwide, including recently Frederick’s of Hollywood in their 2015 bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Benjamin W. Kadden, Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard. Ben has represented debtors, creditors, and creditor committees in large and complex commercial bankruptcy cases, and represented a retail property owner in the Borders Chapter 11 case.
  • Donna F. Taylor CPA, CCIM, CRX and Sr. Vice President of Asset Management & New Business Development at Stirling Properties. Ms. Taylor is the Asset Manager of a portfolio of properties owned by third parties, which
    includes the responsibility for property and construction management, leasing, financial reporting, budgeting, financing and refinancing, contractual compliance and general client interface.
